So there’s this Japanese game called Blue Reflection that immediately captivated me because of how incredibly beautiful it looks. It reminds me a ton of the art pieces created by Japanese artists like Tony Taka that fuses both an anime and a more realistic look together. It’s difficult for me to describe it, but it simply looks astounding.

This great art style is especially true when seeing this game in action through the latest gameplay video put out by Gust and Koei Tecmo, showing some characters and combat. This is where it gets even better, because even the windows, menus, music and animations look incredible. The last time I was this blown away by a game’s graphics was during the beginning of the Xbox 360/PS3 launch windows, where we saw the likes of Blue Dragon, Gears of War and Final Fantasy XIII gracing our eyeballs with their then-awesome and advanced graphics.

I’m still not entirely sure what the game is about, but I have ceased to be concerned about that. I have a burning desire to see more of this game, and I am definitely going to insist on a review code for this one. I am anxious and excited to see how this plays out on both PS4 and PS Vita if they ever bring it to the west, which considering this is a Koei Tecmo/Gust joint, it most likely will.
