Examu is planning on launching a Kickstarter campaign on July 5 to bring Arcana Heart 3: Love Max Six Stars to the west on PC. What this game is is essentially an upgraded version of the original Arcana Heart 3, containing a new character, a new Arcana and character balancing. Depending on the funding, Examu may even be able to develop new characters and bring together stories from the other game into one, all of which would be wonderful.

If none of you know this already, I’ll say it now: Arcana Heart is one of my favorite fighting games ever. Aside from the fact that the all-female cast is cute as hell, it is also a legitimately awesome fighting game. There are even some mechanics you see in more modern fighting games, like Dragon Ball FighterZ‘s homing button, that come from how Arcana Heart did it back in the PS2 days. It really is a game series worth playing and I would be delighted to see this newer version hit western shores in English.
